Business terms

Clear terms for a practical fetch.

These terms govern the business-to-business Fetch Rover desktop, extension and account service supplied by Fetch Rover, a trading name of Straun Group Ltd. They require legal review before production publication.

Last updated 4 August 2026

The service

Fetch Rover helps a customer collect invoice files using browser sessions the customer controls, read documents locally, review extracted fields and optionally create draft bills in Xero. It is an administrative tool, not accounting, tax or legal advice.

Your responsibilities

  • Use the service only for organisations and vendor accounts you are authorised to access.
  • Follow each vendor portal’s terms and do not bypass access controls or challenges.
  • Review invoice fields, tax treatment, account coding and every Xero draft before approval.
  • Protect the Windows account, Chrome profile, local workspace and exported files.

Charging

Charges are based on unique successful portal fetches under the published fair-use tariff. Failed attempts, duplicates, retries and manual file imports are not chargeable. Prices are shown exclusive of VAT. We send advance notice before a variable payment and provide a VAT record after payment. Small balances may roll forward.

Local data and integrations

You control the local invoice workspace and are responsible for backup and retention. Third-party services including Chrome, vendor portals, Mollie, Supabase, Cloudflare and Xero remain subject to their own availability and terms. Fetch Rover never asks for a Xero or vendor password.

Availability and changes

Portal layouts and third-party APIs change. We may update, suspend or retire a connection where continued automation would be unsafe or breach a third party’s rules. Security and legal changes may be applied immediately; material commercial changes will be notified in advance where practicable.

Liability

The production agreement must set an appropriate business liability cap and exclusions that comply with applicable law. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Customers remain responsible for approving accounting entries, filing returns and retaining source documents.

Ending the service

You may stop using the desktop app and delete the online account at any time. Before deletion, export anything you need to retain. Tax records may remain where legally required. We may suspend misuse, attempted circumvention or non-payment after reasonable notice unless immediate action is needed for security.
